Zeus ($ZEUS) is a Solana-based meme coin that taps into the popularity of American illustrator Matt Furie’s iconic Boy’s Club narrative. The project portrays Zeus, the one and only dog of the legendary Pepe. This cheerful dog dons a neck chain showing Pepe’s face. This loyal “dawg” aims to take Pepe’s popularity from the Ethereum mainnet to the Solana ecosystem. 1) Can you tell us more about the inspiration behind Zeus as "Pepes dAWG"? How does his character embody the spirit of Pepe and Matt Furie? Zeus is an original illustration by Matt Furie. Matt made Zeus to be the best friend and companion of Pepe. Zeus also embodies the alter ego of Matt Furie himself, an expression of the artist’s beliefs and sense of humor. (Note the earring Zeus has, Matt has as well) He has never promoted Zeus much, keeping this dog as a hidden gem for those in the know. We believe it’s the best boys club narrative in disguise. 2) What motivated you to bring Zeus onto Solana rather than launching solely on Ethereum, especially given the close connection to Pepe? Zeus was launched on Solana for several reasons, first and foremost the cost and ease of use. Unfortunately the original dev team didn't have the right intentions and they rugged the project shortly after reaching an ATH of 3.5M mc. On the 23th of June we established a CTO with a team that has high conviction in the potential of Zeus. We have been pushing organically ever since, growing the community, applying for listings and getting the fundamentals like a good website, artwork collection, telegram stickers and so on in place. Zeus fits perfectly on Solana, also as the alter ego of Matt this seems like a more fitting place for him then ETH would be. Being more free, degenerate and spontaneous 3) Zeus is described as being on a mission to reclaim Pepe's original spirit of degeneracy and laughter. How does the project incorporate humor and mischief into the $ZEUS community? Zeus' mission is to reclaim Pepe’s original spirit of degeneracy and laughter, as it is truly what Matt Furie stands for. We keep this spirit high by being transparent and open but as Zeus is indirectly part of the boys club we can’t ignore his degeneracy, fun and mischief. The Zeus artwork conveys his attitude and intentions in the everyday life of being a top dawg in the crypto space. Basically Zeus is always being a ‘bull-dog’ laughing when fighting the jeets and bears, always keeping a light hearted spirit, grinding it for his pack and never backing down from our common goal. 4) The "Zeusmap" has set ambitious targets, like reaching a 10 million market cap and 25k holders by Phase 4. What strategies do you have in place to sustain this growth? The Zeus team has received several OTC offers from investors but atm we choose organic growth, a true CTO spirit where the chance to get rich is equal for everyone who believes in the project. It might be slower, but slow and steady creates a more sustainable growth in terms of hodlers and true Zeusians. The mailbox isn't short of CEX offers and future potential collaborations either, and we will pick the right time to initiate the next steps. We know any successful meme project is dependent on market exposure among other factors. We see a growing number of KOL’s who recognise the dedication and talent of the team and have started pushing with us organically. We have set action to a plan to grow Zeus MW (marketing wallet) through several community activities like: gamification contributions through Zeus Coin Flip Bot and simply by TG community fund raising. When certain MW levels are met, planned marketing activities will be initiated; Give-aways, meme-competitions, paid-advertisements, and more. Zeus' previous ATH was at 3,5M and the team strongly believes the project can surpass that as long as we keep producing good content, adding new and engaging ideas such as future potential NFTs, on website game, merchandise to name a few.
