WabiSabicoin ($WSC) is a dog-themed meme coin project built on the Solana network. This is not your regular meme token. Here’s why:
$WSC crafts its origin from two Japanese terms: Wabi and Sabi. Wabi is a philosophy of seeking beauty in the simplest things and sensing the tranquility of hearts and minds. On the other hand, Sabi encompasses the rise and fall of the world. Together, WabiSabi conveys the idea that beauty and perfection can be found in imperfect and damaged worlds.
Created using the Web3 project creator tool Smitii, $WSC seeks to unite everyone by becoming an oasis in the crypto world.
Roadmap
The WabiSabicoin ecosystem has an elaborate roadmap guiding its growth over the coming centuries. They are:
- WSE 1 (2025): Airdrop $WSC tokens to the community, commemorate Sabi Day and Wabi Day, and celebrate the first anniversary with coins and NFTs on the Solana network. Wabicoin will also launch on SOL.

7 Questions to WabiSabicoin Team
1)The concepts of 侘び (Wabi) and 寂び (Sabi) are deeply rooted in Japanese aesthetics and philosophy. What inspired you to incorporate these principles into a cryptocurrency project?
I would like to have a community where I could feel at home in this cryptocurrency world. Prominent investors say that 'good investing is boring.' I was looking for the crypto that would remind me of that. That's where I came across 'Previous 侘び寂び.' I found out it was a Memecoin inspired by Eron Musk's tweet. Unfortunately, the Wabi-Sabi memes were already in disarray, collapsed and everything that had been created on the Solana, Base, and Ethereum was rug pull.
I joined the $wabisabi token community among them, which was in ruins. I set out to recover this token in the rug pull and rusty community. However, the Developer closed down our Telegram group and channel. That was the moment when the fraud was clear. So, I decided to rebuild this community. We created the WabiSabiCoin and established a strategy to share 侘び寂び with the community.
2)How does WabiSabiCoin embody the duality of finding beauty in simplicity (Wabi) and embracing the rise and fall of life (Sabi) in its community and operations?
We run gently and will form a decentralised community with minimal functionality required. From the perspective of other Memecoin groups, this would appear to be a decline, but we embrace the restful and choose to make slow but steady progress.
For example, We are considering a policy of operating the 侘び寂び community with a decentralised community like DAO at its core. The decentralised 侘び寂び community is like a representative of other Wabi-Sabi communities. This will be formed, as discussed below, using Japanese crowdfunding services.
For another instance, in the Telegram group, we have stopped noisy features such as RAID and Buy Bot so that members can relax and enjoy 侘び寂び. You don't want someone shouting PUMP next to you when you are looking at our Wabi-Sabi DOGE and feeling 侘び寂び, do you? Of course, some people want to make a fuss, so we allow them to work in different groups. This is because we are autonomous communities.
3)The project emphasizes autonomy and airdrops for holders. How does this strengthen the sense of community among $WSC holders?
We aim to preserve these 侘び寂び communities over the very long term, as stated in our roadmap. To achieve this, we have to increase the probability of survival for decentralised autonomous communities, because at least one must survive. In addition, in order for it not to completely separate, they should have something to unite with each other besides the 侘び寂び philosophy.
We believe that Airdrop, including the sharing of 侘び寂び art, commemorative coins, and commemorative NFTs, can serve as a bridge to this. The commemorative coins airdrop are also engraved with our history and roadmap. We want everyone to feel quite reflective of our bloom and fall.
4)Why was Solana chosen as the initial blockchain for $WSC, and what advantages does it offer to the Wabi-Sabi ecosystem?
The previous project $wabisabi was created on the Solana chain, so we needed to save victims of rug pull to rebuild our community. Furthermore, I don't know if they are from the same developer, but Base and Ethereum 侘び寂び tokens had also rug pull. So, I will try to save them too.
Our ecosystem is centered on decentralised communities. We will publish a draft of a common 侘び寂び Constitutional Code for all communities. Afterward, make it possible for each community to establish its own 'Wabi-Sabi Community Constitutional Law' so that it can operate autonomously.
This will be done by using a Japanese crowdfunding service to create 侘び寂び (Wabi-Sabi) Community tokens and form 侘び寂び Community. There, we are responsible for the overall management of our community, the budget management of the Community Fund (comfund.sol, comfund.eth, etc.), elections, and resolution of the exchange where it will be listed. We intend to develop Wabi-Sabi swaps and Wabi-Sabi chains with this community at its core.
Moreover, I'm considering setting up a general incorporated association, WabiSabiCoin.org to support the community. So, the 侘び寂び ecosystem of the communities, by the communities, for the communities.
5)The roadmap highlights anniversary coins and NFTs. How will these collectibles enhance the Wabi-Sabi experience for the community?
Anniversary and commemorative gifts are all embodiments of the 侘び寂び and are meant to strengthen our community. The commemorative coin will be inscribed with our history and roadmap. At the moment, we plan to in cooperation with religious organisations and public authorities, preserve artwork or cultural heritage, such as tea utensils and paintings, in the NFTs.
On our anniversary, we intend to look back on our history and legacy with feeling quite reflective of Wabi-Sabi. The birth of our community hasn't been spectacular, it was born out of degradation. Our existence itself is 侘び寂び.
6)Milestones like "Wabi Day" and "Sabi Day" add unique cultural touchpoints. How do these events foster a deeper connection between the community and the project?
We intend to events with personal 侘び寂び activity recommendations and in cooperation with religious institutions such as shrines and temples, but we will decide on the details in the 侘び寂び community. We believe they will come up with various ideas. Of course, we will take care of the Wabicoin and Sabicoin to make the commemorative coins embody 侘び寂び.
7)Where do you see WabiSabiCoin and its community one year from now? What milestones do you anticipate achieving by the first anniversary?
First of all, we hope that the 侘び寂び Japanese community and the general incorporated association WabiSabiCoin.org will be successfully established. Probably the community discusses and determines the details of the Wabi Day and Sabi Day events, as well as their own Constitutional Law. It would be nice to be listed on the centralised exchange.
On our first anniversary, we would like to reflect with everyone on the steady progress we have made. Nevertheless, We are still in the development stage, so we don't know what will happen. What we can say for sure is that we are making slow but steady progress!
