1)Croginal Cats embraces a combination of 'cute cats' and 'dank memes,' which is a fun and engaging approach. What was the original inspiration behind merging these elements? Historically, cats and the internet have always been closely tied together. Some of the first and most popular memes on the internet have been cat-related. We feel that for any situation, there is always a picture of a cat that is instantly relatable and hilarious. For our project specifically, the name 'Croginal' is a combination of the words 'Cronos' (for our blockchain) and 'Original' (as we have been with this chain for a long time). Interestingly enough, it also sounds very similar to 'Doginal Dogs,' which is a project that we drew inspiration from. In a time where there is low sentiment for our chain (Cronos' volume is tiny compared to some other chains), we wanted a project to unite our community and thought, "What better way to do that than with cats?" 2)Transparency is one of the pillars of Croginal Cats. In an industry often marred by scams and shady practices, how do you ensure that your community feels confident and informed at every stage of the project? Scams and untrustworthy individuals are definitely a pitfall of the crypto community as a whole. We've prided ourselves on alerting our community about all our decisions and documenting them in monthly newsletters. All our developer wallets are public and posted on our whitepaper. Our team never makes decisions alone; they are voted on in our council, and for certain decisions, we even call on our community to vote. The team is also very open about our profit-taking strategy, which is also posted in our whitepaper. How did you decide on the specific attributes, and what role do these diverse traits play in creating a sense of identity and rarity for collectors? This is a fun question! Our artists @chocopuff_cro and @visitcronos spent weeks deciding on the unique traits that would be available for the Croginal Cats. Some of them were cool things from our own childhoods, and some items were more contemporary. There wasn't an overarching theme, just things the team personally found cool and interesting. We did decide to go with a pixel art design, once again as a nod to the retro video games of our youth. It was really exciting to decide on the rarity of the traits; we tried to make sure that the more 'exotic' items appeared less. We knew that minting these cats would give our community the feeling of pulling a special card from card booster packs. Because every single cat is unique, it has been really amazing to see community members identify with certain traits. One of our community members only collects cats with suits on #SUITGANG. 4)Holders of Croginal Cats NFTs receive a 5% royalty on secondary market sales, which is an attractive benefit. How does this royalty system work in practice, and what kind of impact do you expect it to have on the project's long-term growth? Each cat works as a 'piggy bank,' where every Friday we make a post on X and manually distribute the royalties to the NFTs (this royalty wallet is also public). The owners of these NFTs can claim the royalties on our website or decide to let them build up. We think this is an interesting feature because if you ever decide to sell your Croginal Cat, the new owner could get a nice surprise! As of this moment, we are actually giving back to our community 100% of the royalties received from secondary market sales, but as the price of our NFTs increases, we will scale back this number so that we can have more funds for development. 5)"What’s next for Croginal Cats in terms of collaborations, new features, or future drops? How do you plan to evolve the project while staying true to its core mission of transparency, fun, and community-building? We have so many things planned for the future! Our goal has always been to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3. Through the longevity, cuteness, and humor of cat content on the internet, we are heading towards building an empire of physical products that can be held in our community's hands. Our Web3 products act as a launchpad for our Web2 products that will include toys, collectibles, video games, music, and animations. We love to collaborate with the true builders of the Cronos blockchain and will always be disclosing our plans with our community first.
