6 Questions to Base Wars Team

1)What inspired the idea of Base Wars, and how did you decide to combine AI-generated images, gaming, and a meme coin into a single project?

What inspired Base Wars, is two parts. one is the Base Chain itself, and the name Base Wars fitting so well for the chain. In fact the the idea that all these meme coins are fighting for supremecy on this new chain made it the perfect name. The other part was the actual Game called Base Wars for Nintendo that came out in 1991. It was one of our favorite games as a child and as we got older, we would always think of the game and we wanted to try that game out online, against other players.  Of course back then you could only play against the computer or if you had a friend come over. It gave you the option for a league, with multiple players, but there was no realistic way to keep a league going with 6 different individuals in that sense. But now with the invention of the emulators and with servers, we are able to play the game online against other human players and actually have a proper league. and in this way we can give airdrops to those who win the league as a way to create a community and keep it active. 

2)Base Wars is branded as the "perfect meme coin for Base." What specific aspects of the Base chain made it the ideal platform for launching $BSWR?

What makes Base perfect, is the obvious one being the name as mentioned before. "Base Wars on Base" is a perfect fit. Secondly due to the low fees on Base, it makes it available for everyone.

3)Base Wars emphasizes community participation, such as creating AI-generated images of characters. How have these initiatives shaped the growth and culture of the Base Wars community?

We are still in beta stage of the coin. our plan is to have people take the old characters of BaseWars from the 1991 game and create new modern versions using AI. We believe this is a great way to create memes for the coin and have the community enjoy using the different AI's out there to create the best versions.  It is much harder than you would think to have the AI recreate these characters from 1991. For example if you use ChatGPT to update some of the characters, it consistently wants to add legs to the characters , even though 3 of the 4 characters in the game have no legs but instead have a combination of a humanoid robot with a machine, like a motorcycle, a tank or a floating craft. This will really get the people involed learning how to speak to the AI and how to get comfortable using AI , which is going to be a big part of the future. in a sense we will be teaching these people how to communicate with the AI which could be beneficial in so many different aspects of their lifes in the future.  It is also lots of fun bringing this old characters to life with today's modern digital capabilities. 

4)Why did you choose to integrate AI image generation into Base Wars, and how do you see AI shaping the future of community-driven projects like yours?

The reason we decided to intergrate the AI image generation was because how difficult we found it to recreate the characters using AI ourselves and we thought it would be a nice way to have community members earn airdrops while they help us as well. its a win win situation

5)Base Wars recently hit 30k on Base. What strategies or factors contributed to this milestone, and how do you plan to maintain momentum?

We decided to grow organically and not try and hype our project up. We used word of mouth with local friends and people we know, and have gotten people to invest in our project that we know will not be selling the coin anytime soon. We also locked the liquidity for a year, which right away pumped the coin from 10k to 25k.  As of now we are not using paid advertisment as we continue to grow slowly and organically. We want to make sure our discord page, our X page, and Telegram page are all setup properly before we really begin to grow .  We are figuring out our road map right now and over this week we will be posting that on the website as well. 

6)What are the immediate milestones for Base Wars over the next six months? What would success look like for the project at that point?

We want to hit 100K by the end of the year.  We want to have a community of 100 people by that time, who are active, playing the game,  creating the AI generated images and memes for the project and taking on roles for the project.

Once we hit those milestones, we can better figure out what we want to do for the next six months in 2025.
