Base Monsters ($BMON) is an innovative crypto project on Base Chain that merges the principles of decentralized finance (DeFi) with non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to create a sustainable, community-driven ecosystem. Roadmap

Base Monsters’ roadmap is focused on ecosystem expansion designed to support its community and foster an interactive environment. Minting Platform: This includes the introduction of a dedicated minting platform where users can purchase Base Monsters NFTs directly from a pool. Each time users mint from this pool, they will receive a random card from the collection. Viewing and Collection Dashboard: This includes the launch of a comprehensive viewing and collection dashboard that will allow users to seamlessly browse their monster cards, view information, and keep track of their collections. Auction and Trading Platform: The release of a dedicated auction and trading platform where users can buy, sell, and trade their NFTs.

Functionality and Utility

The primary utility of Base Monsters lies in its associated NFT and the upcoming play-to-earn game (P2E). These NFTs will serve as collectibles and in-game assets within the yet-to-be-launched trading card game. By holding $BMON, players will be able to participate in the game and mine rewards during gameplay. $BMON will also be used within the platform’s governance model. 1)Base Monsters is about blending blockchain with the nostalgia of classic trading cards. What inspired you to merge these two worlds, and how do you see them complementing each other in the modern digital space? The inspiration of using NFTs originated from the idea to use them as passive income. We have watched new token launches suppress charts from gathering marketing funds or profits for a long time. We wanted to create an ecosystem that not only re-captures your childhood memories of opening trading card packs but to bring the NFTs utility so they are more than trade-able digital art. We are inspired by 90s anime. Our deck builder Game, Gallery and Trading Platform will all serve as utility adding value to our NFT trading cards. 2)You describe $BMON as more than just a token — it’s about community, creativity, and strategy. How have you fostered a sense of community around these themes, and what role does the community play in the ongoing development of the project? Community governance is in our hearts, we have taken suggestions and advice from community members. Reaching out to Memecoin Season being one of those suggestions! Community members have also been responsible for voting on naming new BMON and will continue to vote on who we draw next as our Base Monsters character collection grows. 3)Your monster-themed NFTs will eventually become playable in a strategic trading card game. What challenges have you faced while ensuring that these collectible NFTs also function as dynamic game pieces? The challenges of making the game is really down to the level of ambition we have for it. Every BMON will have their own 18-20 support cards designed specifically for them. This will give the game longevity as every BMON deck you play with will be a completely new strategy and experience. This allows us to infinitely add decks for new BMON in patch updates for the game. We have tackled this challenge by hiring help both in development and arts for the game. Our deck builder game will be built from the ground up, being truly unique to Base Monsters 4)How does the Base Chain support the vision you have for the Base Monsters project? Are there specific blockchain features that were crucial for the integration of NFTs and game elements? The best way Base Chain supports our vision is their continuous efforts to build themselves. We see them as the chain of the future to onboard new first time crypto investors. Our vision is to be a recognisable brand with our art style giving a comfort to those investors new to this space while offering fun utility to back it up. 5)How do you envision the Base Monsters trading card game evolving over time? Will there be new game modes, expansions, or perhaps integration with other projects in the blockchain space? Further to releasing new game updates via new BMON decks our game will have a ranking and reward system. Holders of the BMON token will be able to earn rewards. These rewards will be the BMON token and tokens of partners we connect with on our journey! We won’t stop at this first game, we will look to release more games and utilities that use our NFTs as unlock-able characters in the future!
